Our Guide to NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2015
NYC Restaurant Week is back! So from July 20th to August 14th, you can find great bargains at some of the best restaurants in New York City. We can’t be more excited! So here is our picks and our guide to NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2015.
Le Cirque – 151 E 58th St
Le Cirque is the pinnacle of upscale dining and luxury at its best. We are looking at their chilled melon gazpacho, peas and prosciutto risotto and of course their crème brulee off of this year’s Restaurant Week menu.
Chez Josephine – 414 W 42nd St
Chez Josephine in Hell’s Kitchen has been a staple in the New York food scene and serving up delicious classic French dishes for years. If you haven’t already, NYC Restaurant Week is a great time to check it out.
Texas de Brazil – 1011 3rd Ave
Brazilian all you can eat steakhouses are a lot of fun and we were very excited to see Texas de Brazil on the NYC Restaurant Week list. There is a huge salad bar but the main attraction is the entrees which has everything from racks of lamb to filet minions all carved tableside. So save your appetite for this special place.
Murray’s Cheese Bar – 264 Bleecker St
If you are looking for something a little different, our pick is Murray’s Cheese Bar. There has been a lot of buzz about this place and the Cheese flight (Cheesemonger’s choice of three cheeses) and their mac & cheese are an absolute must.
Zuma – 261 Madison Ave
We love Japanese cuisine and one restaurant on our list this year is Zuma. Their dining room and menu are just stunning. Off their Restaurant Week menu, we are going with the chef’s selection of sashimi, the rib eye steak with wafu sauce and garlic chips and the green tea and banana cake. They all sound amazing.
MarkJoseph Steakhouse – 261 Water St
Finally, MarkJoseph Steakhouse located near the South Street Seaport (which has undergone a lot of changes the last year) is a hidden gem. Their steaks are always top notch and super juicy. You also have to get the sizzling bacon appetizer. You won’t regret it.
