Sigmund Pretzel Shop – 29 Ave B
Pretzels are a great snack on the go but honestly they can be a little boring. But one of Ahoy New York’s go to places for a great pretzel is Sigmund Pretzel Shop, in Alphabet City. We especially love their truffle cheddar pretzel which is anything but boring.
Alleva Dairy – 188 Grand St
One popular Italian snack is fresh mozzarella and prosciutto, a classic flavor combination. In fact, on our food tours of NYC, you can sample of the some of the best fresh mozzarella and prosciutto in New York City at Alleva, the oldest Italian cheese shop in America.

Along the same lines but if you are looking for something a little different, how about Murray’s Cheese Bar’s Buffalo cheese curds. They are crazy delicious with all of its salty goodness.
Amorino Gelato – 60 University Pl
As we get close to summer, if you are anything like us, you will be craving gelato more and more! Amorino Gelato has a number flavors and all of them are delicious in their own special way. Make sure you order your gelato on a cone so you can get one of their signature gelato roses. It is almost to pretty to eat. Almost.
Momofuku Milk Bar – 251 E 13th St
We here at Ahoy New York are always on the lookout for the best cookie and right now we can’t have enough of Momofuku Milk Bar’s compost cookie, which crams some of our favorite snacks like chocolate chips, butterscotch, pretzels and potato chips in every bite. Despite the seemingly random list of ingredients, Momofuku has found the delicate balance of all the flavors.
Georgetown Cupcakes – 111 Mercer St
There has been an explosion of cupcake shops in NYC during the last decade; you will find that there is no shortage of options for a very good cupcake. But if you are looking for a great cupcake, one of the higher profile openings has been Georgetown Cupcakes.
