Where to Eat in Battery Park City, New York City
In the last few years, Battery Park City has really stepped up their dining options. In fact, it has quickly become one of our favorite dining destinations in New York City. Here is our guide on where to eat in Battery Park City!
Parm – 250 Vesey St
We love Parm and their Italian-American fare. Parm in Battery Park City has a beautiful, spacious and comfortable dining room and it is a great spot for dining with large groups. If it is you first time visiting Parm, we highly recommend their signature chicken parm sandwich and of course their scrumptious ice cream cakes.
Shake Shack – 215 Murray St & 200 Broadway Level 2
Shake Shack is still the go to place for one of the best burgers in New York City. For something a little different, you can also try their new fried chicken sandwich, the Chick’n Shack. We recently tried it and it was excellent!
Blue Smoke – 255 Vesey St
Blue Smoke’s ribs are insanely delicious but their Alabama white wings are also an absolute must. These chicken wings are just packed with flavor and we now have to start every meal here with them.
Le District/ Beaubourg – 225 Liberty St
Le District is a gourmet French food market in Brookfield Place. Le District is truly a one stop shop with a bakery, cafe, cheese shop and more. Beaubourg is Le District’s sit down restaurant and it has all the yummy classic French dishes like croque madame, steak frites and escargot. We especially like Beaubourg for brunch.
Hudson Eats – 225 Liberty St
Upstairs in Brookfield Place there is also Hudson Eats. It is easily our favorite food court in New York City. There are ton of options for lunch and dinner like Umami’s yummy burgers, ribs from Mighty Quinn’s and sushi from Blue Ribbon.
Gee Whiz – 295 Greenwich St
If you are craving the classic diner experience, you can’t go wrong with Gee Whiz. They have everything from cheeseburgers and salads to more unusual fare like lamb shanks in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
Francois Payard Bakery – 210 Murray St
Finally looking for desserts in the area? Your best bet is Francois Payard Bakery. Their macarons and ice cream sandwiches are top notch and quite addictive. Another great option is Sprinkles‘ cupcakes at Hudson Eats.
