Here are our cheap eats picks for the best brunch in New York City for under $15. Sweet Chick – 178 Ludlow St & Other Locations
P.C.: yelp, Carly C.
Sweet Chick is a very popular brunch spot in the Lower East Side. Their breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict and ricotta pancakes are all under $15 and very delicious! We also love their chicken and waffles which is $19 but it is big enough to share!
Clinton St. Baking Company & Restaurant – 4 Clinton St
P.C.: yelp, Lan L.
Nearby in the Lower East Side there is also the Clinton St. Baking Company & Restaurant. It’s our pick for the best pancakes in New York City! They’re super fluffy and a great deal at $15. Clinton St Baking Co. can get crowded especially for Saturday and Sunday brunch and they don’t take reservations so plan ahead.
Nom Wah Tea Parlor – 13 Doyers St
Another fun idea for brunch is dim sum! Nom Wah Tea Parlor is full of foodie history and it is our favorite dim sum restaurant in New York City! For about $15 you can easily get three dim sum dishes like some of our favorites: shrimp and snow pea leaf dumplings, turnip cakes and a roast pork bun.
Mother’s Ruin – 18 Spring St
P.C.: yelp, Chait L.
Almost everything on the brunch menu at Mother’s Ruin is under $15 and it includes yummy items like challah french toast, chicken & waffles and a juicy double cheeseburger with waffle fries. Best of all, brunch is served everyday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
San Marzano – 117 2nd Ave
P.C.: yelp, Allie D.
We absolutely love San Marzano for their pasta but they are an amazing brunch spot too! They have all the brunch classics like French toast, eggs Benedict and omelet…all less than $10! It’s our pick for “best bang for your buck” when it comes to brunch.
Veselka – 144 2nd Ave
P.C.: yelp, Ashlyn D.
Veselka is a Ukrainian restaurant with a lot of delicious brunch options and almost everything is under $15. But one thing we always find ourselves getting is their pierogies! They even have a brunch pierogi (filled with bacon, scrambled eggs, Vermont cheddar and potato) and a corned beef hash pierogi. They’re both fun twists on this classic.
Fiat Cafe – 203 Mott St
P.C.: yelp, Mary C.
Finally, if we are looking for a good brunch spot in the Little Italy or Nolita area, Fiat Cafe is our go to spot. They have a big brunch menu with eggs prepared pretty much every way possible, pancakes, French toast, oatmeal and more. We especially recommend their eggs Benedict with gravlax salmon!
