We enjoyed the food and walking tour of Little Italy and Chinatown. We had Lilly for our guide and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. As a history major I very much appreciated the stories! Of course the food was awesome and a good sampling from each area! Thanks Lilly! Would definitely recommend this tour!

This was perfectly paced and proportioned. Just the right amount of walking, just the right amount of food, and amazing backstory provided by Lily who was a very knowledgeable and welcoming guide. We were two adults and two early teens and it was an amazing experience to get authentic New York food and history. Amazing sites to take in. Not a regret and highly recommend to anyone considering.

Took the Chinatown/Little Italy tour on Sunday - Hannah was absolutely phenomenal! I loved hearing all the facts and tid bits about the food, culture, and history surrounding both Chinatown and Little Italy -- all the bites were incredible, and now I know the best stops to make in the area for future trips!

Hannah was our guide and she was amazing! Super knowledgeable about the history of Chinatown and Little Italy. The food options were delicious and varied. I’d definitely do it again!

Patrick was an excellent guide! He gave just the right amount of history along the tour. He is clearly passionate about what he does and seems to love sharing his knowledge. The food was fantastic! The tour was well thought out and paced. All in all, a perfect way to spend part of a day!

My three buddies and I took the Chinatown/Little Italy tour with Patrick as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Patrick’s energy, knowledge and love of his job were on clear display and made the whole experience educational and entertaining. As a native New Yorker who grew up in Flushing, there was a lot that I learned about Manhattan’s Chinatown and Little Italy’s history and on top of that, all the food we tried was delicious! Patrick was a really fun and interesting guy to hang out with! I highly highly recommend this! It’s time and money well spent!

You won’t regret spending your time in NY this way. I completed this female-owned small company tour yesterday with my three teenage daughters. Patrick was our amazing tour guide (he’s been doing these for several years). He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. The chosen food locations were varied and a perfect tasting of Nolita. The pace of the tour was great and we made several stops at interesting non-food locations to hear about the neighborhood. We had such a great time, I would do one of their other tours another time.

We experienced the Chinatown/Little Italy tour with Patrick and it was a great way to learn the history of the area and find the really good local spots to eat. We did an early tour and ended up back in the area for dinner and dessert. Patrick was super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Would definitely do another tour with them.

Our guide Patrick brought the history and cuisine of Chinatown and Little Italy alive-he was wonderful start to finish. He was high energy but not overly so, he was very warm and personable, he knew all the history and cool stories of the Chinatown and Little Italy areas we toured. He's obviously well liked and respected by the vendors on the tour. I toured with my 2 sisters, we had not been together in NYC in a really long time and only had one day free to do something like this and it was such a blessing Patrick and this tour worked out for us! I would highly recommend this tour and especially Patrick! I'd love to bring my husband and kids back and do it again!

Patrick was an absolutely brilliant guide and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with him! Patrick created a warm and welcoming environment for every guest on the tour and had exceptional rapport with each and every business where we ate, greeting each person by name. He was also extremely knowledgeable and my husband remarked that he gave lots of information about each area of the city we toured that we wouldn’t have known otherwise. It was outstanding!Additionally, I have some unique (and somewhat challenging to accommodate) food allergies, and the whole team at Ahoy went above and beyond to make sure I was not just accommodated, but felt safe and confident eating each and every item. The Ahoy Food Tour spanning Chinatown and Little Italy was great! We did it as a team event, and it ended up being a very special experience. Lily, our tour guide, was amazing. As a history major, she was not only knowledgeable about the yummy food we were sampling, but she was also able to share the historical context of all the places we went to! A great combination of being able to try the very best of Chinatown and Little Italy, with enough walking all throughout so we didn’t feel too full by the end of the tour. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour with Solange and Liz! The tour was a combination of historical context paired with various eats from Chinatown and Little Italy. I definitely recommend a private group with these ladies as the more casual and personal atmosphere made it a lot more special! The items picked out were absolutely delicious - do not skip out on the duck! We got Liz as a bonus and it was amazing to hear her expertise show through as an experienced guide and as a born and raised New Yorker!

This is the first review I have ever written on Google but Lily and Ahoy NY Food Tours earned it. I was traveling to NY with my 15 year old son from SF and the tour was AMAZING. Lily was engaging, knowledgeable about local history and approachable. The food was fantastic and a great smattering of these two neighborhoods. I cannot recommend this tour any more highly. The tour of Chinatown and Little Italy were amazing. Our guide, Patrick, was amazing. He gave us incredible history and insight, and got us into incredibly busy restaurants like a jedi knight! We called this a 4d tour - a great, traditional walking and historical tour with a 4th dimension of tasting the history as well. Don't hesitate - book this tour!

I was genuinely stunned by how good this experience was. The food was, of course, incredible, but our tour guide, Hannah, was so knowledgeable about the local history and culture. It felt well-paced and had something for everyone. Hannah was also patient as our group asked tons of questions. I’d recommend it to anyone coming to New York!

My family and I had such a great time on this tour. Our guide, Lilly, was lovely. Really warm and friendly and excited to share their love of the area. The group size was small, which was perfect, and we moved at a steady pace but never felt rushed. We were able to take our time and really enjoy the space and the food. I liked that all of our stops were at small, older, established shops that had been around for decades or more. It made the tour feel more intimate and gave a better appreciation of the history these vendors have experienced to survive til today. Most importantly, the food was great and I left feeling appropriately full and a little more educated. Would definitely recommend to all who like a little cultural history with their Tasty Dumplings!
